User Insights

User insights is crucial to the successful design of medical devices that reflect the needs and requirements of the user. When conducting user insights, the UX and Design team at Technolution starts out early by conducting qualitative interviews and observations with users and continues during the lifetime of a development project. Later stage user research often involves presenting users with prototypes, mock-ups or sketches of the product. By discovering that one design e.g. made users feel stigmatized, while another left them feeling empowered, it becomes possible to compare different medical device concepts simultaneously and make improvements based on user feedback.
