Packaging Design

The packaging of a medical device represents far more than just disposable containers. A carefully considered packaging design can give the patient a better overall feeling about the medical device, e.g. through a well-thought-out unboxing experience. The secondary packaging can also make the medical product safer in the hands of the patient by ensuring correct usage and storage of the product.

Sadly, packaging design is often overlooked, when it rightfully should be considered an integral part of the user journey and key to the interaction between user and product.
