Industrial Design

The look and feel of a medical device should incite confidence, thereby leaving the user with a feeling of certainty that the device is safe, works as intended and is ultimately for the benefit of the user’s health. Other than signaling values like solidity and reliability, however, the device must also be discreet so as to not make the user feel stigmatized when using the product in a setting away from home, e.g. at work.
