Mathias obtained his MSc degree in Design and Innovation from DTU in 2018, where he focused on product development, user-oriented design, and entrepreneurship. During his studies he designed a drug dispensing solution for nursing homes to improve patient safety and working conditions for the nurses, and he worked on a pyrolysis reactor to increase bio-oil yield and quality using robust design. Prior to joining Technolution, Mathias worked at a startup specializing in wind energy and drone technology. As part of a small, international team of engineers from various academic backgrounds, he participated in all phases of an early technology development project, his primary contributions being development of mechanics and software for a VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) aircraft.
