Lonnie holds a Master of Science in molecular biology. She has 18 years of experience working within the medical device industry in the areas of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and innovation process management. She has successfully worked with all regulatory classes of medical devices including drug-device combinations and most recently served as the Head of Certification at TÜV SÜD Denmark ApS. In addition to having a strong passion for regulatory affairs, Lonnie is a certified lead auditor and experienced in setting up quality management systems for startup organizations. The skill sets from the different disciplines of regulatory, quality, and innovation process management combined with the notified body experience provide a unique holistic view of the entire lifecycle of medical devices. In her spare time, Lonnie is a martial arts instructor and juggles the film player and popcorn machine as a volunteer in the local movie theater.
