Lars holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and he got interested in the medtech early in his studies where both his bachelor thesis and his master thesis were within the medtech field. Lars’ main interest lies in the early phases of product development where he enjoys planning and conducting brainstorming sessions and use his hand sketching skills to visualize ideas and solutions. Designing concepts on both product and component level is where Lars really shines and by keeping manufacturability in mind from the first sketch strokes he ensures a high level of feasibility in the design. Identifying user needs and translating them into product features is key to a good product design, says Lars.
