Mia holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree and PhD – all within Chemistry, and all from the University of Copenhagen. After graduating as PhD in 2011, she had a couple of detours, first as a post doc at the University of Lund and then as Research Scientist at Ørsted, before finding her true path within medical devices. Since 2017, she has worked with Design Control, Change Control, Verification and Validation, Test Method development and Risk Management. She has been involved in new product development and during MDR transitioning of legacy products, with main focus on defining new requirements, developing and performing tests for R&D or verifications purposes, and linking product and process related risks to mitigation activities. She is not afraid to steer a little outside her comfort zone, or provide good rationales in situations where it necessary to deviate from standard procedures. She is quick to adapt to new systems and finding the most practical solutions within the context of the problem.
