More about Gert
He holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, and with more than two decades of experience in product development, Gert is quite well experienced in all development phases.
During his career he has been into quite a few industries and participated in many projects for several well-known companies. It has very often been with DFM/DFA, design for manufacturing/assembly, in focus.
Gert has a big knowledge in aluminum, plastics and flexible materials. He is especially passionate about plastic components designed for injection molding with many integrated functions, also 2K injection molded parts. When it comes to rapid prototyping, soft tooling and 3D print technologies are well known to him.
He is an energetic team player, who will easily fit in a project group. He has a good overview and solve the tasks open minded.
Beside this, he just loves B&O music systems from the 90’s, mechanical SLR cameras from the 70’s and BMW cars in the Z-series!
